Post 3: Difficult? It's all relative

Some people say that the feeling of "oh shit, can I really pull this off" is a demon that plagues us until the finish line. I like to look at it in a different way.

I prefer that kind of that twisted "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" logic that you can totally kick dementor ass because you've seen yourself do it before, although you didn't realize it was you doing the actual ass kicking until after the time-space paradox conveniently was no longer a usable plot device and the book shifts to flying horses to drive along the next dramatic element.

Doing a half marathon is way easier than warding off dementors because you DO you know it was you! I have pictorial evidence. See, you HAVE run 13.1 miles before!!


(Those hands waiving in the air are undoubtedly shooing away dementors)
